Stripe Setup

Configure Stripe payment processing for your Eonebill account

Stripe Setup

Connect Stripe to accept secure online payments from your Eonebill invoices.

Prerequisites

  • A Stripe account (sign up free)
  • A verified business (Stripe personal verification may suffice for freelancers)

Connection Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → Payment Methods
  2. Click Connect with Stripe
  3. Authenticate with your Stripe credentials
  4. Select the Stripe account to connect
  5. Configure your preferences

Stripe Dashboard Integration

Once connected, view all payments directly in your Eonebill dashboard:

  • Payment status and history
  • Refund management
  • Payout tracking
  • Dispute handling

Payment Methods

With Stripe connected, your clients can pay via:

  • Credit/Debit Cards — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover
  • Bank Transfer (ACH) — For US business accounts
  • Stripe Link — Faster checkout for returning customers

Fees

Stripe fees apply per transaction:

  • Cards: 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge
  • ACH: 0.8% (capped at $5) for US bank transfers

Eonebill does not charge additional payment processing fees.

Webhook Setup

Eonebill automatically configles Stripe webhooks for real-time payment notifications. No manual setup required.

Going Live

Before accepting real payments:

  1. Complete Stripe identity verification
  2. Add your bank account for payouts
  3. Test with Stripe's test mode first
  4. Toggle Live Mode in Eonebill settings
