Multi-Currency

Eonebill supports invoicing in 30+ currencies, making it easy to work with international clients.

Supported Currencies

USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CNY, INR, BRL, MXN, SGD, HKD, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, NZD, ZAR, KRW, THB, MYR, IDR, PHP, VND, PLN, CZK, ILS, AED, SAR, and more.

Setting Currency Per Invoice

  1. Create or edit an invoice
  2. Click the currency selector at the top
  3. Choose your client's preferred currency
  4. All amounts update automatically

Exchange Rates

Eonebill uses live exchange rates (updated hourly) for:

  • Displaying equivalent amounts in client's currency
  • Converting payments to your home currency for records

For Freelancers

  • Always agree on currency before invoicing
  • Add a clause for exchange rate fluctuations
  • Consider using a stable reference (e.g., "USD equivalent")

For Agencies

  • Set default currencies per client
  • Use EUR or USD for international clarity
  • Track revenue in your home currency separately

Payment Processing

When a client pays in a foreign currency:

  1. Stripe converts to your home currency automatically
  2. Eonebill records the original and converted amounts
  3. Your bank deposits the converted amount

Eonebill auto-formats currency based on locale:

  • $1,234.56 (US)
  • €1.234,56 (EU)
  • £1,234.56 (UK)
